IXB / NJP – Darjeeling
Arrival and greeting at IXB / NJP by our representative and Transfer to Darjeeling, the Drive is Approximately 3 Hrs75 km’s Approx. Arrival at Darjeeling and Check-in to the Hotel Pre-Booked, Evening Free for Leisure and Over-night stay at the Hotel

Day 02
Darjeeling Full Day Sight Seeing
Early morning at around 3:45 AM drive to 8000 feet / 2440 meters through primitive forests of oak, magnolia to Tiger Hill to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather) – On the way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Peace memorial & Batasia Loop – On the way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Peace memorial & Batasia Loop – Back to hotel for breakfast - After breakfast rest for half an hour After breakfast next round of sightseeing - Half Day city tour includes Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Ropeway, Tensing Gumpo Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre (Closed on Sunday), Tea Estate, Natural History Museum (Sunday Closed), return to hotel evening free at leisure overnight at the hotel.

Day 03
Darjeeling To Mirik Lake Excursion
Morning Breakfast – After breakfast drive to Mirik nearly 60 kilometres / 1 Ѕ - 2 hours drive – The drive is through scenic roads with occasional stoppage for photography - Mirik is centred round Sumendu Lake and is known for its landscaped gardens, tea gardens, orange orchards, cardamom groves and spectacular views of the Himalayan ranges - Full day excursion of Mirik Lake (Horse riding & Boating facilities is available around the lake - This high altitude lake is worth visiting due to its serene location and peaceful setting – One can also visit Pashupati Market in Nepal on the way back to Darjeeling – Back to Darjeeling – Evening free to roam around the Hotel / Resort or Mall or the Local market area - Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 04
Darjeeling To Kalimpong and Full Day Sight Seeing
Early morning Breakfast - After breakfast drive 65 kilometres 1 Ѕ - 2 hours transfer to the Kalimpong - Kalimpong situated on the foothills of the Himalayas is a green destination at an altitude of 1243 meters / 4078 feet - It is a historical destinations with bustling market, colourful people and offers spectacular views of the Himalayan range – Check into hotel – Drive for sightseeing tour through scenic road to Forest Museum (Closed On Thursday), Deolo Hill, Hanuman Mandir, Dr Graham Homes, Durbin Monastery, Mangaldham, Pine View Nurseries (Cactus Only) - Back to Kalimpong Hotel – Evening free to roam around the any of the hundred nurseries or the Local market area - Overnight stay at Kalimpong.

Day 05
Kalimpong - Labha Loley Gaon - Icchey Gaon - Zuluk
Morning after breakfast gear up for for your tour and depart for Icchey Gaon. Thje ride will be of approximately 92 Km’s and4 Hrs Kms covering Kalimpong Labha and Lolay Village, and Reaching Icchey Gaon on a Straight Through Ride, Ride slow trying to encounter the breath taking view and many of birds species. Covering small towns of Rhenok where you can reftresh your self and continue on the journey for the day. Reach Zuluk and rest for the Day. Over night at the Home stay in Zuluk.

Day 06 Zuluk - Thambi view point - Longthu - Nathang Vlley old and new Baba Mandir - Tsomgo Lake - Gangtok Morning be greeted by the magestic view of mount Kanchendzonga- ride nearby places depart for Gangtok covering Kupup, Tsongo Lake and Baba Mandir- exit the resticted area Premises and Enter the City of Gangtok where you can say hello to comforty one again. Reach Gangtok and Check-in to your Hotel Pre booked- Enjoy your Day for Leisure and Rest- Dinner and Over night saty in the pre booked hotel Nathula Operation Is Subject To Road Condition And Availability Of Permits As Only Limited Permits Are Issued 48 Hour Prior To The Schedule Tour. Nathula Service Cannot Be Availed On Monday And Tuesday. Nathula Visit Is Not Advisable To Guest Having Problem With Blood Pressure, Knee & Heart. Since Nathula Is A Restricted Area Any Time Army Can Seal For Security Reasons. In Such Case Tour Will Only Be Till Tshangu Lake And No Refund Will Be Allowed For Unutilized Services. Gangtok Full Day Sight Seeing
Morning after breakfast at around 9:00 Am Leave the Hotel for the Full day Sight Seeing of Places in And Around Gangtok Covering 10 Points

2) Ban-jhakri Waterfalls
3) Rumtek Monastery
4) Enchey Monastery
5) Rope Way
6) Ganesh Tok
7) Institute of Tibetology
8) Tashi view Point
9) Nehru View Point
10) Shanti View Point.
Return to hotel and Evening free for leisure and overnight at the hotel

Day 08
Gangtok – IXB / NJP
Early morning after Breakfast check-out from the hotel proceed towards the Airport / Railway station for you Onwards Journey.

Documents Required: 04 passport size photographs each and 02 photocopy of voter I’d/ driver license/passport or similar and for children 02 passport size photo graphs each & 02 photo copy of school id / birth certificate / Similar. Pan card and Aadhar card is not valid here in the tourism permit office

Note: Itinerary can be changed as per the room availability. After confirmation send the necessary document for permit to our Gangtok office by courier or we will charge 280/- as document charges. For all sightseeing guest should be ready by 07:30 a.m.
Documents required for permit 02 colour passport size photograph of all pax along with the photo ID i.e. (Valid Passport , Votters Card , Driving Licence) No other document will work.

Sikkim Travel Tips

Sikkim is a small state nestled neatly amongst the Great eastern Himalayas and hosting quite a few ethnic tribes and vast variation of weather conditions. To enjoy any Holiday or a Trip a wise and an essential packing of luggage is a must.

Please do make sure that you carry the items and keep in mind the Do’s and Don’t’s mentioned below:

  • Documents:

Please always do carry an Original Identification for yourself and all the traveling members, such as Passport/ driving lsc/ ration card/ voters card.

  • Clothing, Shoes and weather Grear

A good pair of light sneakers (preferably waterproof or leather if visiting North Sikkim) are very important for your feet, as you may have to walk in some places. Carry a few woolen clothes as it may get a bit cooler in the morning and evenings, also you would require them for visit to tshangu lake and Baba Mandi, If there is snow at the point you visit, there are always hawkers who give rented gumboots, gloves, and raincoats so you can feel free to roll around on the snow. Always carry small towels with you while traveling,

  • Toiletries and Medical Supplies

Please carry your medicines, water and what your doctor has suggested for high altitude. chweingums of great help to overcome giddiness at very high altitude. Please carry anti-vomit tablets like Avomine, Pregnidoxin, Reglan and Deriphyllin/ Coca for breath control as the twisting and curving roads tend to get you sick.

  • Photo equipment

Please carry extra data cards if you are taking pictures in high megapixels, you are going to run out of space. Lithium batteries are also not much help as they can store little charge. Carry several alkaline batteries and camera which can be of great help as you will be tempted to take thousands of photographs

  • Miscellaneous

Please avoid eating from wayside dhabas as they might tend to get you sick, also before boarding on a car for a long route eat light and carry some snacks with you, always carry a mineral water bottle with you and avid drinking outside waters.

  1. Vegetation is fragile; follow designated trails.
  2. Avoid littering and deposit garbage at designated places.
  3. Keep all pollutants away from streams and lakes.
  4. Respect local culture by taking permission before taking photographs.
  5. Dress modestly. Be aware of the customs and manners and culture of the local people.
  6. It is customary to leave a donation at a monastery and to circle shrines in a clockwise direction.
  7. Enjoy yourself always
    1. Don’t disturb wildlife or its habitat.
    2. Don’t buy endangered species or antiques.
    3. Don’t smoke, drink alcohol which is strictly prohibited in public
    4. Don’t talk loudly near sacred places.
    5. Don’t pluck plants or flowers
